With automatic, semi-continuous casting lines, we can produce rare earth magnesium cast rods with high performance and large diameters and a grain size under 100μm. After scarfskin removing, the rod material is compact without cracks, shrink holes, cold shuts, oxide slag inclusion or solvent slag inclusion with a cross section purity under 1mm, impurity less than 8, a tensile strength above 310MP and a yield strength above 235MP.

The performance indexes of the product has reached to YS-T627-2007 in the inspection by the Test Center of the National Nonferrous Metals and Electronic Materials. The product has filled a gap at home and its quality and overall process has come to the International advanced level according to the appraisal of the scientific and technological achievements of Shandong Province.
